Average Customer Review    (Login to review this product) Easy drop-in dimmer to replace a switch By Timothy (Living Room) on 8/27/2009 The Ariadni has a wonderfully simple design that allows it to function exactly like a standard switch, but with the ability to choose your light level. It is also awesome because you don't need to change your wallplate to install it - it can work with a regular switch wallplate. I previously had a dimmer from another company, and it didn't work any near as well as the Ariadni. When you lower the Ariadni to the lowest dim setting, your light(s) will be on, but at a low level. With the other brand of dimmer, the light would turn off when the knob reached about 1/3 of its total range, and the light wouldn't turn on again until you turned the knob up to about 40-50%. Great for people who prefer the look of a traditional switch but want the capabilities of a dimmer. Great starting dimmer By Shayne (Kitchen) on 7/22/2009 Very easy to use with toggle on/off functionality similar to old toggle switch. It allows me to easily set the light level to what I want and maintain it at that level without having to worry about getting ti back into my preferred position. Easy to adjust with smooth light level transition.
